As the COVID-19 situation unfolds and with Government measures across Europe to contain the pandemic likely to continue for some time, the safety of conference participants and workers is a priority. We regret therefore to announce the postponement of EES 2020. The conference has been rescheduled to 6-10th September 2021 in the same venue in Copenhagen. Professional Development Workshops will take place on the 6th and 7th September 2021 and the full conference on the 8-10th September. We appreciate that many will be disappointed but we much hope that you will be able to join us next year as we come together as a community to engage face to face in debating how evaluation can help us better understand and resolve the crises and uncertainties we face in current times. The arrangements for the new dates are currently being put in place and we wish to assure participants that all abstracts already submitted will be reviewed for inclusion in the September 2021 event. There will be opportunities to revise current abstracts and submit new ones during an interim period (see link here for further information form the Conference Programming team). We will make similar arrangements to ensure that the Bursary programme goes ahead with deferred sponsorship and maximum participation. Information on the rescheduled Professional Development Workshops will be announced shortly.
We thank all of our stakeholders for their patience and continuing commitment to the EES. For our part, we will endeavour to engage EES membership in a series of online events and communications over the coming months and will announce proposals in this regard soon. These difficult times offer us all the opportunity to increase our engagement and collaborations as an evaluation community. We look forward to your continued support and involvement in events and activities building up to EES 2021.
